General information for Presenters and Authors
Congress language
The congress language is German. Foreign participants are welcome to present in English. Please indicate your potential conflicts of interest on the first or last slide.
Speaking times
Please prepare your engagement in such a way that the speaking times provided for this purpose, which can be found in the detailed program, are adhered to. Chairs are encouraged to intervene if time is exceeded. The following speaking times are planned:
- Oral presentation: 7 minutes presentation + 3 minutes discussion
- Rapid communication presentation: 4 minutes lecture + 1 minute discussion
- Lectures, overview lectures, plenary lectures: see time information in the online overview
Technical requirements
Please create your presentation in 16:9 format as a PowerPoint or PDF file. A presentation device with PDF reader and MS Office PowerPoint 2016 will be provided for your presentation. The use of your own presentation device is not provided within the scientific program. There is a lectern with notebook, presenter and laser pointer in the lecture hall. A technical support person will assist you.
Submission of presentation
Please hand in your presentation on a commercially available storage medium in good time, but at least 2 hours before your presentation, at the presentation reception. There you will have the opportunity to test the presentation and edit it if necessary. Please do not protect your removable media with security software.
Attention!
Different encodings for video or audio formats can cause problems. Please visit our media acceptance in time.
Abstract publication
All abstracts presented at the congress will be published in a citable abstract volume via the German National Library. You will also receive the abstract volume on site.

- ePoster: 3 minutes presentation + 2 minutes discussion.
Format requirements/Technical requirements
Please prepare the ePoster in 9:16 format (resolution min. 2160x3840, 72 dpi) as JPG or also as PDF. Posters will be presented in portrait format on a 60-inch monitor on site.
Submission ePoster presentation
ePosters must be submitted via the Conventus Upload Center. You have already received detailed information by e-mail.
Create a personal account at the following portal (if you already have a Conventus account, an additional account is not necessary) and then log in to the Upload Center with your account data. Verify yourself for the 74th Annual Meeting of the DGNC 2023 with the verification code you received in the e-mail with the information about the Upload Center. Upload your displayed submission(s) under "Upload Presentation File". Confirm at the end by clicking on the button "Submit Presentation".
Submission will be open until 31 May 2023.
Please note that ePosters cannot be changed or submitted on site.
