How do I register for the digital annual meeting of the DGNC?

Is there a group registration?
No, group registration is not possible.
Will the digital conference take place at the same time and date as the face-to-face conference in Lübeck?
Yes, the digital conference will take place from 21–24 June 2020. The scientific programme will remain unchanged. You can find the programme of the conference here.
Will there be registration fees for the digital conference?
Yes, there will be registration fees. You can register at discounted rates via the conference website. Please note that there is an additional registration option in order to have access to the conference materials after the end of the conference.
I already registered for the DGNC annual meeting in Lübeck – what happens next?
You will receive detailed information regarding you registration from our registration department. All bookings already made will be transferred into a digital registration. Therefore, no additional registration for the digital conference is necessary. If you wish to cancel your registration, a cancellation fee of 25 EUR will apply.
I will not be available from 21-24 June. Will I still be able to access the digital conference content?
A major part of the conference material will also be available after the conference. Please register for the on demand content on the conference website to have access to the material after the conference.
Until when is registration possible?
Registration is possible at any time before or during the digital conference. Registration is possible via the conference website.
What do I need to attend the digital conference?
To participate in the digital conference, you will need a good and stable Internet connection, your computer/laptop, tablet or cell phone, speakers/headphones and a microphone. Please also make sure that you are using the latest version of your internet browser. If you are using Internet Explorer below version 11, there might definitely be problems. The use of a camera is optional.
Are all sessions available online?
We make every effort to make all sessions available online. You can also check the procedure for each session type on the conference website.
Are the sessions interactive? Will there be a possibility for Q&A?
The speakers and chairs are live for all sessions (even, if the presentations are not live). You can ask questions via chat during the presentations. At the end of each session, the chairs review the questions, read them out and the speakers answer them. For some sessions, there will also be a 15-minute discussion room after the session, where you can exchange ideas as in a video conference. A lounge area will also be available at all time during the digital conference for further discussion and communication.
Will there be an industrial exhibition?
Yes, the digital conference will be accompanied by a virtual industrial exhibition. The exhibition area is clearly indicated on the platform of the digital conference. The virtual exhibition area is presented as a 3D booth setting and, as in a face-to-face event, you can visit the booths, view the material displayed and exchange information with the booth personnel on site. Our numerous sponsors and exhibitors are looking forward to your visit!

Will it be possible to get CME points at the virtual conference?
The digital conference is registered at the medical chamber for CME points. As during a face-to-face meeting, the point will be automatically transferred by Conventus to the medical chamber after the conference.
My abstract has been accepted for the digital conference – what happens next?
You will receive a separate e-mail regarding the procedure for each session and the technical requirements. You can also find further information on the digital format of the sessions and the preparation and upload of your ePoster/presentation on the conference website.
Please do not forget to register for the conference as usual. Registration is done via the conference website.
