Concerning the Coronavirus

Statement: 2 April 2020

The 71st Annual Meeting of the German Society of Neurosurgery is going to take place from 21–24 June 2020 in Lübeck. We mutually agreed that the annual meeting is NOT going to be postponed or cancelled. The development of the situation concerning the COVID-19-virus is constantly being monitored in cooperation with the regional health authorities and the organisers of the conference.

As a precaution, additional cleaning and disinfection measures are carried out during the conference (additional hand sanitizer dispensers, more frequent cleaning of restrooms, door handles etc.) Qualified medical staff are prepared and at your disposal for further questions on-site.The check-in, lecterns and conference tables are going to be disinfected on an hourly basis. Furthermore, there are going to be posters informing participants about self-protection measures.

We’re going to keep you informed in case there is going to be a change to the current situation.

Please be assured that we are going to consider all risks, but we are optimistic that the annual meeting is going to be a successful one in June.
